With this in mind you would think its a massive market to get into, indeed they sell well but we also sell quality so they also last for years and years. Magnetic safety signs have been a good seller this week. We have supplied both waring signs and fire safety signs using the magnetic rubber. This is a great way to cover yourself under health and safety issues without having to add stickers onto each vehicle you drive.
Traffic signs can also be made from the magnetic rubber as this can make them 100% interchangable. Exit signs, warning signs and general health and safety signs can be produced in this way, saving the customer money and hassle of re ordering evertime a vehicle is changed.

Christmas is fast approaching and the main thing of peoples mind is making the post of the christmas sprending spree. Previously banners have had vinyl letters applied which tended to fall off after a while and look very tatty, we print directly onto our banner with 4 year outdoor proof inks. Chester Zoo have just recently asked us to produce some large banners at their front entrance which is advertising their Christmas Festivities this year, as usually these banners are very striking and really pull in the customers. A local school has just had a health and safety inspection by the local council and realised that all their Fire safety signs are not upto scratch. A question that we get asked over and over by our customers is when do I need to use highway regulations for my signs? The simple answer is, if its on the high way not a private road you have to have the highway standard lettering and reflectivity.
Temporary signs are best on the standard stanchions (frames) we have four main types, firstly a single sided stanchion which holds a 450mm x 600mm sign, secondly a double sided stanchion which holds two 450mm x 600mm stanchion, thirdly we have a stanchion which holds a 600mm x 600mm sign and lastly we have the large 1050mm x 750mm stanchion. These stanchions all come with clips free of charge and can hold upto a 3mm thick panel.
Luton airport used the large stanchion sign for a ’snow plough in us’ directional sign. Chester Zoo use their stanchions for guiding visitors in the busy summer months from the high way onto their car parks.

Signage for schools and college. Over the last couple of months we have been inundated with requests for school signs. All of these have been free standing signs with either a full colour image or solid colour logos in bright vibrant colours which makes them feel very child friendly. With the environment in mind cestrian signs now use dibond rather than alluminium in their signs. Dibond is a white powder coated sheet material which has a recycled plastic core, nice to know that all the health and safety signs we sell, get recycled somewhere in later life. I read a paragraph in the local paper stating that if all businesses but all their safety signs in a row it would encompass the british isles 1.25 times over - now that would take some recycling!
